You can delete your Quibble account, and everything Quibble holds for it, at any time. This page explains how to ask, what is removed, and what we are required to keep. It applies to the Quibble and Quibble Lite mobile apps and to the web application.
Deleting your Quibble account does not touch your property management system. Your listings, calendars, rates, and reservations stay exactly as they are in your PMS and on your channels. Quibble simply stops pricing them and removes its own copy of the data.
1. From inside the app
Open Settings, scroll to Delete account, and confirm. This is the fastest route and needs nothing from us.
2. By email
If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify that you own the account before acting on the request, and we may ask you for one detail only you would know. We respond within the time applicable law requires, and in practice within a few business days.
3. What happens next
A deletion request schedules the account for permanent removal after a 7-day grace period. The wait exists so a mistaken tap is recoverable: sign in before the date and choose Keep my account to cancel. Push notifications stop immediately when you make the request, not at the end of the grace period.
When the grace period ends, we permanently delete:
- Your account. Profile, email address, password, sign-in sessions, team member seats, and notification settings and device tokens.
- Your properties and their configuration. Listings, groups, pricing rules, minimum and maximum prices, stay rules, and event multipliers.
- Your operating data. Reservations and bookings, availability and rate history, prices Quibble computed or pushed, market and comparable-listing selections, notes, reports, and daily briefs.
- Your integration credentials. The tokens and keys connecting Quibble to your PMS. The connection stops; your PMS account is unaffected.
Any active subscription is cancelled as part of the same step. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone once the grace period has passed; we cannot restore an account or its history afterwards.
4. What we keep, and for how long
We keep the minimum the law requires and nothing that identifies you beyond it:
- Billing and tax records. Invoices and payment records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law, typically seven years. These are held by our payment processor and in our financial records, not in the application.
- A record that the deletion happened. The date, and a one-way hash of the email address so we can answer “was this account deleted?” without keeping the address itself.
- De-identified and aggregated data. Market-level statistics that can no longer be linked to you or your properties, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Backups. Encrypted backups roll off on their normal schedule, within 35 days, and are not used to restore deleted accounts.
5. If your account belongs to a company
Team member seats can be removed by the account owner from the team settings without deleting the whole account. Only the account owner can delete the account itself. If you are a team member and want your own personal information removed, contact the account owner, or email us and we will refer the request to them.
