How to connect Smoobu

Connect Quibble to Smoobu with an API key and secret from your Smoobu settings.

Smoobu is retiring its legacy API keys on September 25, 2026. Create a new key with a secret as described below; older keys without a secret will not connect.
Step 1

In Smoobu

    Open API Keys

    In Smoobu, go to Settings → Advanced → API Keys.

    Create a key and generate its secret

    Create a new API key named Quibble, then generate its secret. Copy both right away; the secret is shown only once.

Step 2

In Quibble

    Create your Quibble account

    Head to the Quibble sign-up page and register with your details.

    Verify your email

    Click the verification link we email you, then return to Quibble to finish connecting.

    Select Smoobu and paste your key and secret

    Choose Smoobu from the list, enter the API key and API secret, then click Connect Smoobu.

  4. 6

    You’re all set

    The Done step confirms your account is connected. Quibble starts importing your data — we’ll email you when it’s ready.

What happens after you connect

As soon as you connect, Quibble starts importing your listings, reservation history, rates, and calendar availability. Your account stays locked while the import runs, so you won’t be able to log in just yet. The moment it finishes, we’ll email you — then you can log in and start optimizing.
